The 7th Global Education Fair (2024 Global Education Fair) was successfully held on April 21 at the Hilton Markham Suites Conference Centre. As one of the largest public welfare education exhibitions in Canada, the Global Education Fair was founded in 2018 and has provided tens of thousands of students both domestic and abroad with opportunities and platforms to directly communicate with top educational resources.

This event invited admissions officers from universities including the University of Toronto, McMaster University, Queen’s University, Western University, OCAD University, Dalhousie University, etc., to the site to provide face-to-face communication for all students and parents who came to the fair. Consultation and information sharing attracted local and international students and parents from the Greater Toronto Area to visit the fair. It provided students with opportunities to learn more about the latest and most accurate admission information and admission standards.

Introduction of Global Education Fair

Global Education Fair was launched in 2018 as a non-profitable international education fair consisting of postsecondary institutions located in Canada, the USA, the UK, Hong Kong SAR, and mainland China. Until now, Global Education Fair has successfully organized events for the past seven years with over 50 different postsecondary institutions as guest exhibitors/speakers, over 20,000 guest attendees, and many more parents and agents/consultants in the education industry. The fair aims to connect schools with local and international students with regard to admission info, application procedures, scholarships, and strategies for success.
Past participants of the Global Education Fair consisted of more than forty schools, including the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, McGill University, the University of Illinois, Hongkong University of Science and Technology, Queen Mary University of London, the University of Waterloo, McMaster University, Simon Fraser University, Calgary University, University of Manitoba, University of Victoria, Georgian College, Centennial College and so on.
Global Education Fairs in 2018 and 2019 were held at Global Education Academy in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada. These education fairs attracted thousands of students and their parents to participate. Local community and government leaders expressed their sincere support and congratulations on the successful launch of these events.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Global Education Fairs 2020 to 2022 were offered online via webinar series, but the participation was still extraordinary, with an estimated 80,000 viewers and participants on our various broadcast platforms.
Since the inaugural Global Education Fair in 2018, the year 2023 marked the 6th year for this large-scale educational event. Postsecondary institutions viewed these events as a great opportunity to connect with prospective students who were then in Grades 11 and 10. They could speak with parents and agents in the education industry, obtaining the most up-to-date admission information and success criteria for the coming academic years. This presented a golden opportunity for students who wished to enroll in some of the world’s top postsecondary programs.
