The 10th Global Education Fair was successfully held on April 25th at the headquarters of the Global Education Group in Canada. The event invited admissions officers from universities including the University of Toronto, McMaster University, OCAD University, and Wilfrid Laurier University. Representatives from Harbin Institute of Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Wuhan University of Technology in China also participated as volunteers.

The fair provided one-on-one consultations and information sharing for all attending students and parents, attracting local and international students and parents from the Greater Toronto Area. It offered students an opportunity to learn more about the latest and most accurate admissions information and standards.

Several seminars were also held, where university admissions officers shared in-depth information about their institutions, providing attendees with the latest and most comprehensive information and guidance. Practical content, including guidance on adapting to student life and analysis of future employment trends, helped attendees gain a comprehensive understanding of their studies and future career paths, enabling them to make informed decisions.

On the day of the fair, admissions officers personally engaged in one-on-one discussions with students and parents, providing detailed answers and advice on admission requirements, program selection, accommodation arrangements, and future career paths. Students engaged in in-depth discussions with admissions officers, sharing their own experiences and insights, creating a lively atmosphere. Many students expressed that this face-to-face communication greatly helped them in making decisions regarding school selection and major planning.

Introduction of Global Education Fair

Global Education Fair was launched in 2018 as a non-profitable international education fair consisting of postsecondary institutions located in Canada, the USA, the UK, Hong Kong SAR, and mainland China. Until now, Global Education Fair has successfully organized events for the past eight years with over 50 different postsecondary institutions as guest exhibitors/speakers, over 20,000 guest attendees, and many more parents and agents/consultants in the education industry. The fair aims to connect schools with local and international students with regard to admission infomation, application procedures, scholarships, and strategies for success.
Past participants of the Global Education Fair consisted of more than fifty schools, including the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, McGill University, the University of Illinois, Hongkong University of Science and Technology, Queen Mary University of London, the University of Waterloo, McMaster University, Simon Fraser University, Calgary University, University of Manitoba, University of Victoria, Georgian College, Centennial College and so on.
